  • TECHNICAL SERVICE DEPARTMENT
  • Our technical service department staff includes specialists in troubleshooting and repairing CCTV systems, access control equipment, electronic locking hardware, gate operators and alarm systems. We employ fulltime electronics technicians, certified locksmiths and IT certified personnel.

  • 24-HOUR MOBILE SERVICE CENTER
  • ESSI guarantees quick and effective response to your trouble calls. Our specially equipped emergency service vehicles, outfitted with spare parts and cellular communications, allows our technicians to be promptly directed to the trouble site for timely servicing.

  • ON-SITE SERVICE CENTER
  • Our in house service repair center is an authorized warranty repair facility for many of the systems we provide. The ESSI Service Center is equipped to repair cameras, monitors and recording devices, circuit boards and telephone entry systems to the component level, as well as other security equipment. This capability enables ESSI to return your system to full operation with minimal downtime while keeping factory repair charges to a minimum.

  • LOANER EQUIPMENT
  • ESSI maintains a comprehensive inventory of loaner stock to temporarily replace our customer's equipment when it must be sent out for repair. This stock includes cameras, monitors, time lapse video recorders, multiplexers, telephone entry system circuit boards, card readers and various other components.

  • CUSTOMER TRAINING
  • ESSI provides complimentary training, for its clients, on the use and operation of their ESSI-provided systems throughout our standard one-year warranty period. We also offer this benefit to our maintenance contract customers as often as necessary at no additional cost. We have made, and continue to make significant investments in our staff for basic skills training.

  • MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS
  • ESSI offers structured service plans to maintain security installations, even long after many manufacturers declare their components obsolete. We are still maintaining many systems that were originally installed more than 15 years ago.

    We maintain a service replacement stock of over 90% of the components that make up a security system. Many of these items include expensive digital video recorders and computers.

    A Full-Service ESSI Maintenance Agreement includes all parts and labor, free training upon request and quarterly written inspections, as well as preventative maintenance on all system components.

  • ENGINEERING
  • At ESSI we use modular designs with off-the-shelf products that can be fully integrated. ESSI assembles in-house engineering and factory-certified support to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and safety. We work with only the most reliable manufacturers to provide proven and durable systems. Our engineering and quality assurance staff tests, evaluates and approves all aspects of each system before it is released to our clients for their approval.

  • ALARM MONITORING
  • ESSI utilizes the monitoring service of Emergency-24 located in Silver Spring, Md, for the monitoring of intrusion, fire, elevator and other emergency related devices. EM24 has over 34 years of experience in the security industry, is exclusively focused on providing monitoring services, and is also Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed. UL inspectors randomly review all facilities displaying their logo.

  • DATABASE MANAGEMENT
  • Today's telephone entry and card access systems use databases and communications lines to continually update their user information schedules and access control parameters. ESSI offers our clients software and programming management of these databases from our data center in Upper Marlboro, Md. Most additions or deletions to the system can be handled the same day, via fax or e-mail instructions to ESSI. This is a particularly useful service for properties and facilities with limited or no onsite management.
